Finding a Screen Capture Tool (For Free) Back Story: I recently acquired a new-to-me laptop, so now it's time to install programs and tools that I use frequently; one of them being a screen capture tool. Previously I used Screen Hunter 7 , which worked perfectly for YEARS, it had all the bells and whistles that I needed; it was simple to use and saved to my computer flawlessly. BUT, recently it started spamming me with pop-up registration / pay for service screens after nearly every capture. It got to the point where, as much as I love the program for it's simplicity, I no longer want to use it due to the annoyance of the popup window. So... that brings me to the point of this article: Finding a program that works flawlessly, does exactly what I want, doesn't annoy me with ads/pop-ups, is free and requires no additional registration to use.
