Might start blogging again?!

Have you ever Googled your own name to see what was floating around out there? Turns out I have a lot of blogs, sites and pages all over the place from all my various past adventures in music writing, photography, graphic design, DIY soap making and who knows what else! Definitely too many projects to wrap my head around. But, I do miss writing and want to get back into it. Maybe even make it a "real" job at some point in the future. I know as I get older, my abilities to do what I currently do for a living will no longer be "do able" so I will need to find another way to make a living. I hate retail work, factory work is just as horrible, both of which seem to be the core available jobs in the city I currently live in. Bah! So, lets give blogging another go and see where it goes!

As I start my venture into the DIY homemade handcrafted bath and body (cosmetic) business, I find I'm constantly writing down notes only to lose them over time. Gain "Pods" and Scent Boosters Review

My mom has been picking up these sample Gain "Pods" and scent boosters (like Tide Pods / boosters, but from Gain) from Lowes. I usually only use them when I'm running low or completely out of my normal detergent (Tide Cold Water), but have found myself to be using them more frequently because I love the fresh scent they have! I use the scent boosters primarily with towels and bedding as the scent is awesome and lasts quite a while. I don't trust scented things with normal clothing as one of my kids has sensitive skin and I'm afraid it'll set off an allergic reaction (hasn't yet, but you never know with products these days). We don't normally have stained clothes in our family (at least not like we used to when the kids were infants) but we do laundry nearly every day... hence why we switched to cold water. Hasbro's GameNight VoxBox - Monopoly Jr

Getting Ready for #GameNight with Monopoly Jr Last night we received our Hasbro VoxBox courtesy of Influenster containing Monopoly Junior for testing*! Our family was so excited to try it out that we had our #GameNight right away. When you have two kids jumping off the walls with excitement to play a game that you've never played before and have never opened the box to... the number 1 most important aspect is: how fast can you set up the game and learn to play before the kids loose interest (or drive you crazy). Am I right? Luckily, we managed to get rolling in about 2-5 minutes. The longest part was counting out the currency for each player (the paper money was stuck together making it hard to separate) and popping out the cardboard "house" pieces. The next time we play (which will probably be tonight!) it should be easier since the money has been played with and the gaming piece are all separated.
