Women Freebies

Women Freebies is another collection of free contests, giveaways, coupons and more. Its geared towards Canadian women, but really anyone can cash in on the contents of this site. It seems to be updated somewhat frequently; has perks for members (weekly contests / giveaways, etc.) and utilizes Facebook as an alternative source of additional giveaways not found on the site. The site is nicely laid out with drop down navigation bars to help further define your viewing interests. All in all its one of the more handy (and active) sites I've come across as of late.

Island Saver: Video Game Review (Xbox One, X/S)

Island Saver:  a great game for kids and adults alike Island Saver is an open world task-based game where you are in charge of cleaning up the island from litterbugs while saving ecosystems and learning basic economic life lessons along the way. Sounds boring right? Wrong! The game is so much fun that you will barely notice that you're actually learning as you play!  Its a quick game, I finished all three free levels to 100% within a day, so if you have a short attention span for video games (like I do with story-based games), this game is definitely for you! If you really enjoy it, you can purchase 2 additional islands from the Microsoft Store *. The first island area you land on (I wasn't really paying attention to the storyline, I'm assuming you're some sort of space ranger out to save the world from Litterbugs) teaches you the ins-and-outs of how to play the game (i.e. tutorial mode) and then as you clear trash and wash the gunk away with your Trash Blaster it unlo

Screen Capture Review: Awesome Screenshot (Google Chrome Extension)

Finding a Screen Capture Tool (For Free) Back Story:  I recently acquired a new-to-me laptop, so now it's time to install programs and tools that I use frequently; one of them being a screen capture tool.  Previously I used Screen Hunter 7 , which worked perfectly for YEARS, it had all the bells and whistles that I needed; it was simple to use and saved to my computer flawlessly. BUT, recently it started spamming me with pop-up registration / pay for service screens after nearly every capture. It got to the point where, as much as I love the program for it's simplicity, I no longer want to use it due to the annoyance of the popup window. So... that brings me to the point of this article: Finding a program that works flawlessly, does exactly what I want, doesn't annoy me with ads/pop-ups, is free and requires no additional registration to use. That's when I came across this little gem:  Awesome Screenshot* https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/ If you're anything like me

SHEIN Review

I've been using Shein for awhile now and feel like its time to review the app, store and products (in general). So, without further ado.... The Shein App If you're looking for a cheap alternative to Amazon especially for clothes and home decor items (well, actually pretty much everything!), Shein is the place you should be shopping.  I love the Shein app, it's easy to use and super easy to filter content to your preferred buying habits and searches. I like how you can click the main category and then filter the sub categories to search only the items you're really interested in looking at and buying. Even with filtering, sometimes you still have to scroll and scroll and scroll to get to sections that interest you the most.  I do find myself thinking "hmmm... there's a lot of really risky (i.e. provocative) items here" and find it difficult to find clothes that aren't skimpy, see-through, full of holes (the latest trend) or show way too much skin. So, i
